Fort Mill School District, South Carolina

TischlerBise recently completed the first update in 20 years of the Fort Mill School District’s impact fee. The original school impact fee was implemented prior to the current South Carolina Development Fee Act. Any change to the impact fee amount required a complete update including an evaluation of the effects on housing affordability within the District. York County adopted the school impact fees on behalf of the School District in 2018 and subsequently had TischlerBise update the fee study in 2022.
